Always appreciative of all our volunteers!

National Volunteer Week is April 12-18 and we’re glad we have such a week in Canada. “A volunteer action is like a stone thrown in a lake: its effect has a direct impact. At the same time, like ripples, volunteer efforts reach out far and wide to improve communities. Undeniably, volunteers rock,” says Volunteer Canada, a national organization. We couldn’t have said it better!

Our volunteers provide hours of dedication and passion to their work: cleaning inside and outside our buildings, painting, organizing, stuffing bags, sealing envelopes, assisting in our kitchens, helping with events, sorting clothes, pricing store items and much more. We couldn’t serve the community and our clients without them. Thank you to each and every volunteer past and present for all you have done throughout the years!
