London Middlesex Civitan Club Reaches Out to Rotholme

Members of the London Middlesex Civitan club were on hand at Rotholme Women’s &  Family Shelter to present a cheque for $2500.  “We’re so thankful for the support all these years,” said Brenda Mezza, Program Supervisor at Rotholme.

The London Middlesex chapter of the Civitan club has been lending a helping hand to Rotholme for almost twenty years, dedicated to providing food, clothing and support.  “We specifically support this branch of Mission Services,” said Sue Gibson, a longtime member of the club.  She explains the mandate of the organization which is to assist those with a variety of challenges.

Civitan is an international organization of volunteer service clubs with over 40,000 members in 38 countries around the world.   The London Middlesex chapter was chartered in June of 1975 and has been dedicated to helping people in their own communities ever since.

As per their request, every dollar of this generous donation will be used to buy food for the residents of Rotholme Women’s & Family Shelter.  We are truly grateful to this organization and those like it for these gestures.
