We are grateful to be the London recipients of Urban Barn’s “Blanket the Country in Warmth” national campaign. Customers at the Southdale and Wonderland Urban Barn store purchased fleece blankets for $5 – some buying more than one. All 185 blankets sold will be given away through the Mission Store’s voucher program, which assists London and area residents.

On hand to receive our shipment was volunteer and “linen specialist” Barabara Drogemuller who commented, “They’re really nice blankets!” Director of the Mission Store, Carol Ristine, was equally thrilled saying, “They’re soft, warm, and new. Blankets are in need to be given away, especially this year. We’re truly thankful.”

Urban Barn Store Manager Melissa DeVylder said, “Staff were really on board with this very practical giving program. A big thanks to them and of-course to our customers.” Over 10,000 blankets have been purchased by Urban Barn customers nationwide for donation.
